September 22, I began driving my little old wheel estate to Florida.
I made a wrong turn and just kept going.
As of November 10, I am getting closer.

My GPS is dyslexic (no kidding) the dog can't navigate and my paper with driving directions blew out the window. I found the atlas but drove off the page an hour later. Flipping over to the next page, I continued to drive not realizing it was the wrong page, and wrong state.
Last weekend I lost a whole hour in the middle of the night and I wasn't even driving!
In 1513 Ponce de Leon was searching for the Fountain of Youth when he found Florida.
Maybe I should try his technique next.

ReplyDeleteI just left Tampa, Florida area y car camped along A1A y Rt 17 y just arrived In the DC area to visit with family for the next couple months...will be heading back to Fl. early Jan.2014
Car camped at Gamble Rogers Pk @ Flagler Beach , Fl ; Ft. Clinch St. Pk. @ Fernandina Beach, Fl.; Buck Hall @ Francis Marion Nat. Forest., NC ; y a couple of Wally World Inn's in NC y Va. Great drive along Atlantic Ocean y rural countrysides....but sure did get cold last few nites! Wish I'd met up with you along the way!
