Author@dearmissmermade.com. Dear miss mermaid please let us know that you are going to be safe with the storms we are going to get this week. We havent heard from you in so long and worry about your health and harley. If you are north of orlando you could get heavy rain and winds. As a fellow islander( st. Thomas) i know you can take care. Wish and hope you are not alone . Island grandmother. Jan
Miss Mermaid, I've just come across your blog by accident, while looking for information on hurricane Matthew. My daughter is going to live in Tortola at the end of this month (oct 16) she will be working out there, and not only am I obviously upset to be losing my baby, I have since learned she's going to be in the midst of a load of HURRICANES!!!! Hopefully, you'll put my mind at rest, as your blog will be the first thing I log onto for a long time to come!
Author@dearmissmermaid.com. Dear Miss Mermaid. I have been reading your adventures for many years now, I started with them on stormcarib.com reading the updates there. You have made visiting Tortola a dream for me and I am finally going to go this spring. Is there a place or places you would recommend that I visit to see the local way of life and not just the touristy stuff? I am looking forward to sharing my adventures with you!Christie
