Does Size Really Matter (Part 2)

The other day I wrote about squeezing my motorhome into a teeny tiny camping lot assigned to me by a ranger with a very strange sense of humor.

Below there I am, nestled between the trees on 3 sides. I think this was a tent only spot. My front bumper sticks out at the edge of the narrow road.

Two days later I traveled 5 hours making 140 miles to a favorite little island in the Indian River Lagoon. They gave me a list of open spots, letting me drive around and pick one.

Rather than a water front site, I chose an economical inside one with a little patch of grass on the driver's side.

And a big patch of grass out my front door!

    1. The first and second sites are 2 different parks. But at the crammed spot, I did meet a wonderful veteran in the next lot and we laughed it up trading out Grey Poupon mustard...LOL

  2. You moved like a pro, got a sweet spot, your doggie is happy as a clam..Size matters in the animal kingdom, our girl cody a shorthaired domestic kitty kat rules over others, she is a long bit of feline wonderfulness, when dogs try to get crazy with her, she hisses and lets them know who is boss, we actually have another kitty cat, Mr. Miyagi he is long haired nearly completely black, playful and wants to play she will have none of that Miss Cody, hisses and growls letting him know she is the Queen of Sheba and tries to reach out and claw him, he jumps into my arms and just cannot believe any cat would do that, he actually is bigger but he is a perfect gentleman and would not scratch her, he runs to my hubby and gets salvation whereby he picks him up and scolds Miss Cody with Mr. Miyagi in his arms, that settles that, but in the animal kingdom size does matter...just saying!

    1. I so want a kitty cat, soon as I can figure out how to squeeze one in the budget. I've never had an indoor only cat, and wonder if the kitty would be happy with that. I see other RV-ers let their cats out sometimes and they seem to come back home.

I've now moved yet again to my winter spot in another park.

    1. I am utterly amazed you noticed that. True enough 23 months ago, I did camp in the exact same spot. Usually I like to hop around and enjoy different spots, but that particular one I like because the palm tree reminds me of the Virgin Islands and also it's a big lot my puppy dog loves! You surely impressed me. But the pictures I posted above were taken this week.
