    Have you tried Ortona South? It is a COE campground along the Okeechobee River and has water and electric, but no sewer. Gorgeous place, however, even if you can only stay for two weeks. Most of the snowbirds have apparently left, as they have quite a few spaces available and price is right for over-62s.

    Another COE park is St. Lucie south. It also has one site right on the river--love that place and you can watch boats go by and walk across the dam and lock.
