The SHS is weathering the Dog Days of Summer - Year of the Cat style!  In honor of our yearlong celebration of cats, we are setting adoption prices at an all time low.  From July 3rd - July 11th, adopters can bring a cat into their lives for $20.10! $20.10!  What's the CATch? 2010 is the Year of the Cat, and during our busiest season, we needed a special way to bring our wonderful cats and kittens together with loving homes.  Adopters will receive all the same services that are part of our regular priced adoptions.  All felines will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, and feline leukemia negative!  You will also receive a free health exam, 30 days of free health insurance, and access to all the resources you and your furry friend will need to start out on the right foot!  We hope to see you visiting one of our many adorable cats or kittens! Brett Jones-Flynn, the “gorgeous, super-loving, darned-near-perfect” shelter alum, has taken the lead in our Calendar Cover Contest.  There's still plenty of time to enter and vote for your favorite pet!  And remember, it's free to enter!
