I am a volunteer workamper at Lake Hartwell. These are some bucolic scenes for you to enjoy. We are all oh so lucky to live in such a gorgeous world.
My little bark ranger and I are treated daily to these awesome locales on our park rounds.
Lake Hartwell is a man-made reservoir bordering Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo, and Seneca Rivers. It has a unique shoreline nearly 1,000 miles long. |

Picnic with a view. Ironically the picnic table is in Georgia, but the land across the Tugaloo is South Carolina. The Tugaloo river feeds into Lake Hartwell. |
On a perfect day, the lake waters mimic the forest like a mirror whispering "look at me, look at me." |
Whimsical pinkish clouds signal mid morning on still waters. |
Later in the day, the sun plays peek a boo with clouds that can't decide whether to rain or not. |
Blooming dogwoods in spring are common throughout the woods. |
Beautiful pics. Give Monkey a hug for me :)
